ITM Run 2017, the 2nd edition of the highly successful event that was flagged off in 2016 saw it’s another edition becoming successful on Sept 24, 2017.
The event was Organized by the prestigious Institute of Technology and Management (ITM) which attracted over 600 fitness freaks, including amateurs, women, youth, children, and veterans, in addition to professional runners.
The event was supported by Navi Mumbai Runners Group and Kharghar Gymkhana Sports Association. Bharat Petroleum’s SPEED was the title sponsor and the riding partner was Harley Davidson.
Mr. Samir Singh “The Faith Runner” was the brand ambassador of the event. Samir Singh’s previous feat was recognized by the media and the fraternity who attempted a 100 Km “FAITH RUN”. On 29th April 2017, Samir Singh, an ultra-marathoner embarked on an inconceivable journey of pushing human endurance to the extreme. He undertook to run 100km every day for 100 days, covering a total distance of 10,000 kilometers. Samir is the first long distance athlete in the world who conceived and attempted this extraordinary feat.
Stellabrity was part of the event which saw its CEO/Founder run the 5 Km race and completing it successfully to etch his company’s participation in the 2017 event.
The ITM students created the elements of fun and vibrancy with individual and group performances before the prize distribution ceremony.
A great show put up by the students and the teaching fraternity will be remembered for its slick execution and has already raised the bar for the next year’s chapter.
